Community Environmental Awareness and Action programme (COME AP) increase young people’s capacity to adapt to the harsh impacts of climate change by building important knowledge and a breadth of “green skills. Young people need acquire knowledge base around the causes of climate change in schools but need a strong set of skills that will allow them to apply their knowledge in the real world, including problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, coping with uncertainty, empathy, and negotiation and their local communities play a key part in offering these “transferable skills” needed to thrive in the world of work and empower them take action. Warm Hut UK is pleased to build these transferable skills within their local communities.
